Position Description:

EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree preferred. Engineering or Science degree a plus.

3+ years of supervisory experience, ideally in a chemical or related manufacturing facility.

Desired knowledge includes; basic chemistry, chemical reactions, PSM, Continuous Improvement methodology (OEE, Six Sigma, 5S etc)

Strong personal computer/information technology skills and knowledge. SAP experience strongly preferred

RESPONSIBILITES:

Will support the Manufacturing Manager in day to operations by driving continuous improvements in cycle time reductions and efficiency gains.

Drive accountability by setting expectations and monitoring results. Schedule adherence, cycle time improvements, increased capacity utilization.

Generate weekly productivity reports.

Work closely with supervisors to meet targets for volume, quality and schedule compliance Ensure compliance with cGMP and SQF guidelines.

Perform performance reviews for for current personnel as well as new hires.

Work closely with schedulers to develop the most efficient production plan to fill orders.

Develop, implement, and sustain corrective actions for internal and external customer concerns.
